About Industrial Cleansers

Industrial Cleansers Pty Ltd is a company that has lived through a number of incarnations.

Originally started in far north Queensland (Australia) about 30 years ago, the company moved to Brisbane in the state's south-east where it established a niche as a supplier of commercial and industrial cleansing products.

During this time, Industrial Cleansers was owned and operated by Keith Baker, an industrial chemist who brought a wealth of knowledge and a skill for mechanical improvisation. Many of Keith's original product formula's are still sold today - including our flagship product 213 Heavy Duty Cleaner. It was a small, prosperous company supplying a select market.

In the 1990's, the company changed hands, and names, a number of times - but without achieving any definitive growth or improvements from the original business.

In 1998 the company changed hands again, this time being purchased by Specsol Australia Pty Ltd - a research and development company focused on supplying specialised product solutions over a range of markets. Specsol restored the original company name and Industrial Cleansers Pty Ltd is once again establishing itself as a supplier of specialty cleaning products.

The company has also expanded its range of services to include:

• third party product manufacture
• warehousing,
• toll manufacture
• packaging
• product development

 in such areas as agrichemicals, autocare, paint and graffiti removal.

The company is currently developing a range of ultra-low impact cleaning products suited to Queensland's sensitive coastal and island environment
